Vancouver Café Window Design

Mon Paris Café, a cozy French café in Vancouver’s Olympic Village

The café serves coffee, croissants, macarons, chocolates, and cakes. Our goal was to catch the eye of passersby and invite them inside. At the same time, the design needed to stay true to the café’s Parisian charm.

First, GrafikaVision hand-drew a custom illustration to reflect the café’s brand. A single flowing line loops into a heart, then sweeps into the Eiffel Tower across all three panels. As a result, the separate windows read as one cohesive composition from the street. The centre panel also holds the logo, the tagline “A Taste of the Sweet Life,” and a short menu. In addition, delicate flourishes frame the text and echo the illustration.

Bold pink and clean white linework give the storefront a warm, inviting presence. Because of the high contrast, the windows are easy to spot from across the plaza. Finally, durable vinyl window graphics bring the design to life on the glass. This cost-effective solution transforms the space without permanent changes to the building.

Overall, this project brings together signage design, illustration, and café shop design. The result is a storefront that feels as sweet as what’s inside.
