The Challenge
Vivus came to us with a bold mission: create plant-based, science-backed pet food that’s good for dogs and the planet. The challenge was making that mission impossible to ignore — on a retail shelf, at a tradeshow, and online.
The Story Behind the Brand
When founder Olga Milman went vegan, she faced a dilemma she couldn’t resolve: she cared deeply about what went into her body, but continued feeding her dogs conventional meat-based food. So she did what great founders do — she researched, found a gap, and built the solution.
That’s how Vivus Pets was born. The name comes from the Latin word for “alive” — because Olga believed dogs could live longer, healthier lives on plant-based nutrition, formulated by a certified veterinary nutritionist and backed by peer-reviewed science.
